Privacy Policy

Restockly ("the App", "we", "us") provides inventory management — purchase orders, demand forecasting, stocktakes and low stock alerts — to merchants who use Shopify. This Privacy Policy describes how personal and store information is collected, used and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify store.
Information we collect
When you install the App, we access the following store data:
- Products and inventory: product titles, variants, SKUs, barcodes, inventory quantities, inventory costs and locations — to display stock levels, compute forecasts and update inventory when you receive purchase orders.
- Orders: order line items and dates from the last 60 days — used exclusively to compute sales velocity for demand forecasting. We do not read, store or process customer names, emails, addresses or payment details.
- Store information: store name, currency and locations — to configure the App for your store.
Data you create in the App and that we store on our servers:
- Suppliers (names, contact emails/phones, lead times, terms)
- Purchase orders and their line items
- Per-item restock thresholds and App settings
How we use the information
- To operate and provide the App's features
- To compute forecasts and reorder suggestions
- To provide customer support
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell, rent or trade any data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not train machine-learning models on your data.
Data retention & deletion
When you uninstall the App, Shopify notifies us and all data stored for your shop (suppliers, purchase orders, settings and access tokens) is deleted automatically within 48 hours. You may also request immediate deletion at any time by emailing support@trackwise.studio.
GDPR & compliance webhooks
The App implements Shopify's mandatory compliance webhooks. Because we do not store customer personal data, customers/data_request and customers/redact requests are acknowledged with no data to return or erase. shop/redact triggers deletion of all remaining shop data.
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct or erase your personal information, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Contact us at the email below to exercise these rights.
Data security
Data is stored on encrypted infrastructure (Railway, PostgreSQL) in access-controlled environments. Access tokens are stored server-side and never exposed to browsers. All traffic uses HTTPS/TLS.
Third-party services
We use Railway (hosting, database) to operate the App. These providers process data solely on our behalf. We do not share your data with any other third party except when required by law.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced inside the App. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
